Traditionally worn on the smallest finger (usually the pinky), the signet ring was used as a tool to emboss a signature into a wax seal. The Irregular Signet Ring is not that. Borrowed from the shape of a signet ring but without any actual practical or traditional use, the intent is a reaction that hopefully says “I’ve seen it before, but not in that way.” The Irregular Signet Ring is made solely for the purpose of no purpose but “because I want to”, which is arguably the most ideal and freeing way to make any form of art.
The Irregular Signet is hand-carved from a block of wax and casted in solid recycled sterling silver. Comes high polished and gets better with gradual wear with character like scrapes, dings, and imperfections– the way Soft and Sticky’s jewelry is meant to be worn.
Made from Recycled Sterling Silver for everyday, so you don’t have to be precious with it.
Sterling silver doesn’t contain metal additions that can typically cause infections or allergic reactions.
The oils on your skin keeps sterling silver clean, wear often to prevent tarnishing over time.
Wear and scratches will show with time like all precious metals, but we think character is beautiful.
